The Oblique album is one of my faves.... Better known for it's more soothing Hutcherson compositions (which did soothe me yesterday as it took me 2 hours to drive 21 miles); it's the more...angular...composition jawn by the severely under-rated Joe Chambers (born 10 miles from where I was headed, btw) (whose drumming is nothing to sneeze at either) and the stellar bass work of the tragically short-lived Albert Stinson that keep me coming back....

Ok for shits and giggles... I needed music for a vid I did of Raccoons knocking over my dad's critter cam and I found this jazzy thing I did 15 or so years ago.. enjoy... or not..

One of my fave organ raves is Germantown Jimmy McGriff's 'The Worm'... trash-picked a supa clean vinyl copy on a mildly dog-eared South Jersey curb in the late 9Ts. Also featuring Blue Mitchell....
