Yeah--the whole tone stuff on the head is an acquired taste--there's probably a reason you don't hear it more often--but after that they settle into a more modal blues vibe, with Jackie and Lee in particular shining, but Mobley is a nice foil and the rhythm section w/ Higgins, Ridley and Herbie is something I would love to hear on the regular....

Yeah, man--all great stuff! Have fun with it :snax: That Abdullah Ibrahim live appearance is the biz Chank--very cool lineup there--A.I. never gets old for me, mebbe because his roots immersion created a sound that already seemed ancient when he premiered it....
