On Wednesday I visited an awesome concert at the "Leverkusener Jazztage". The main act was Avishai Cohen's performance with his current trio, but I went there with my father to see Joey Alexander, 18-year-old piano genius. We had a real blast throughout the 78 minutes that flew by as if they were 30 minutes only.

The whole concert was professionally filmed by the WDR television team as a livestream service. The HD video is available for a full year under this link. I downloaded it with the Video DownloadHelper Add-On for Mozilla Firefox, so it won't get lost.

Maybe someone is interested in seeing/hearing the Avishai Cohen performance. This is avilable here. I didn't like that performance too much. But that's mainly because it was just after Joey Alexander's performance. If the two performances had been switched around it had been a perfect evening for me.
