NEW SHIT
I did an interview with Japanese hardcore band, Vanishing Twin. I will be releasing their EP in the US sometime in June.

READ HERE: http://strangetalesrec.com/post/1596612 ... shing-twin

-------------------------------

I generally really, really, really hate doing shit like this, which makes no sense since a distro should probably promote itself to sell music. I shouldn't be doing this shit but I love the music so whatever I'm spreading it.

I have a ton of releases right now from various hardcore, indie, pop-punk, post-rock and what have you kind of bands from the Japanese underground. Maybe something will catch your eye.

I have quite a few things heading my way/in talks to distro/going to be releasing as well in the coming months. I'll update as I see fit.

Actual website where I've been known to post stuff sometimes

Buy stuff I guess:

Also, I have about 20 more cds from Waterslide that I'm adding to the distro tomorrow. More top notch pop-punk coming up. I have the Lovemen discography CDs, and they're a fucking legendary Japanese pop-punk band.

I've spent all day updating the store, now have the legendary Lovemen discography CDs, and both full-lengths from Japan's best current pop-punk band, Shipyards!

Seriously, all of it is fantastic.

Just when I think I don't gel with ILF at all, someone comes in and poops out a ton of Japanese pop-punk and emo into my lap. Major kudos sir (ma'am?)!

Too bad for you that I literally don't have an extra cent to my name.

This one looks right up my alley http://strangetalesrec.storenvy.com/pro ... mer-lights

Passive Chord is great! One of the 5 bands the dude from Further Platonix is in.

Also, you and everyone else doesn't have any money.

Got a damn great hardcore/screamo (it ain't dead) split 7" in. Atari are great friends of mine, and Sto Cosi Cosi is a band I haven't heard before. Both super killer. Will be doing an interview with both of them as soon as I can think of questions.
