well, Stereolab sold out before i could get a ticket :( i'll have to decide if i can afford to pay ticket-broker prices, which i probably can't.

Sleep coming back in May. And they are coming to a bigger venue this time which means they can actually turn on all their amps this time. Pretty sure the last place sold three times their capacity, it was miserable.

i found out yesterday that Acid Mothers Temple are coming back to the US. they'll be in DC in April, and tickets are only $15! their show last year was pretty spectacular..at one point Kawabata's guitar wound up hanging from the electrical wiring above the stage by the whammy arm while emitting shrieking feedback. big fun.

I'm seeing Guitar Wolf in Tokyo in a few weeks. I'm there for work then taking a bullet train across the country to see them before I fly back.

End of April = Gories + Oblivians in NYC.

Oneida and Mugstar tomorrow as March has slowly turned into an insane gig month. Festival season slowly kicking into gear after that, and all those lineups look immense. And then I wonder why I haven't had any gear money in years

Also re: Stereolab who's still in the band these days?
good deals are here.
escapecraft is here.

don't know...it hasn't been stated anywhere i know of, and i'm on their mailing list. assumedly Gane and Laeticia will be there, otherwise it wouldn't be Stereolab.
