Nice! listening right now....

... aaaand... loved it! thx!

actually impressed by how little they lean on ambience, just using simple, relatively un-effected textures and letting them be; also, the ambience they do use is refreshingly...un-shiny....

Counterpoint: you should miss them because they are not very exciting live, subdued or otherwise.

(They've never clicked with me,obviously, even though loads of people love them.)

I can see where you are coming from, DoS. They weren't on my radar until I saw them open for Boris last October with an amazing performance. Listening to some of their back catalogue is sort of underwhelming.

Yeah I'd like to give them another shot at some point (I was not in a great head space for a decent chunk of roadburn 2017) but they haven't been back over since.

Well I'm finally going to get to see Godspeed. I bought tickets for both nights in Chicago. I missed last time because I booked a vacation for the same week they were here.

People seem to like Luciferian Towers.

Im not super into SubRosa's studio albums but I really liked that live one so it should be cool. Not who I would expect on a bill with Sleep.

Watching them in April. Saw them a couple of years ago, and they were the best band I've ever seen. Sufficed to say: I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

i know it's lame to many, but i'm stoked to see U2 in June.

Going to see BRMC next week. I’ve seen them a number of times over the years, always a good show so should be good :animal:
