FO SHO. Jungle was so fresh and grimy when hiphop was shifting from the gritty basement bangers to get pretty, poppy & clubby.
That '95-98 niche window of music is extra fascinating to me, in retrospect. Also Astrogirl is one of my all time fav logos
Just checked itunes and ofc, all the Jungle Sky comps are available....EXCEPT FOR VOLUME 3. Ofc

So, two categories for me:
1) Three albums that shaped me when I was like 10-12 years old and blew my world up
2) Three albums as an adult that have spoken to my inspiration for making music
Youth:
"Cheshire Cat" - Blink 182
"Dookie" - Green Day
Weezer's Blue album
Adult:
"Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them" - Murder by Death
"Those Who Tell the Truth" - Explosions in the Sky
"Forse 2" - Alessandro Cortini (really the Forse series of albums but this one in particular)

So many great lists!
I am an evolving organism ergo constantly being shaped. I had a hard time picking 100...let alone 3. We used to make these on /mu/ back in the day. Don't know if people still do, haven't been there in years. These are all albums I revisit constantly (you will see some newer ones there).
I thought about posted 5 or 6 that I am enjoying a lot now and thinking about constantly. May do that next.
NOTE: I don't think this chart even scratches the surface. While editing I didn't include a single VENETIAN SNARES album (I could easily list like 6 of those). NOTE: I cheated and listed more than a few compilations. NOTE: Please excuse the labeling. No such thing as a 'second tier'.
