Agreed! I really like the bass tone on 16 psyche and overall it's a good album.

I am so excited for this tour. This might be my favorite album from her.

Heard her name a bunch of times, but this is the first time I'm listening and holy shit is it good and not at all what I was expecting.

I think I need to buy an album or two, but I don't know where to begin. Anyone want to suggest essential albums to buy? From what I've heard I kind of just want to buy it all. Leaning towards Abyss and Pain is Beauty maybe?

I like both of those albums a lot but you should check out her new album, hiss spun. It's very heavy and it rules.

I'd say Hiss Spun and Pain is Beauty are good places to go. :snax:

Yay! If you like her heavier songs, then go to Abyss; if you want to go Folkier/acousitc, then go to all of her stuff before Pain is beauty (Apokalypsis, The Grime and the Glow.)

I haven't really been exposed to too much of her folky stuff. Really just heard the heavier side so far. But I'll keep that in mind going forward

Honestly my favorite album of hers is Unknown Rooms, which is her "acoustic" album (still some synths).

Best way to listen is the live show IMO.
