Goddamn these foos rock so fucking hard. I've just been binging on them like crazy. Who's in the same camp? My favorite albums are Akuma No Uta and Amplifier Worship. I just want to grow into a skyscraper sized monster and tear shit down when Huge comes on.

Huge

Ibitsu

I love the transition between these two. That show is so well shot.

I really liked Amplifier Worship and Heavy Rocks.Haven't really listened to anything else by them.Oh and Wata is pretty cute too.Something about an Asian chick manipulating feedback with an LP custom and an Orange stack  .

That Ibitsu performance is inspiring, that opening riff is epic.

Fix'd, but yeah, I love Wata, she's such an unsuspecting Rock Goddess. She's got so much soul too.

I also have to plug Absolutego and Dronevil too. The former is probably one of the coolest feedback soaking and bass pulsing pieces I've ever heard, and the later is almost like Boris in a post-rock/metal context (well the second disc). Also check out aRCHIVE. Live shit is key.

<3 "Rainbow" with Michio Kurihara.
Other than that I think the album with Sunn was insanely fun. Especially Akuma no Kuma, I still gets goosebumps listening to it.
Was not too fond of Pink, maybe I'm not enough of a fuzzy riff freak. What am I doing on this forum you ask? bah, you can't make me leave.

I like Pink, especially the first shoegaze type track, that really surprised, me, but it's def not a standout in my book, more of just a great Boris rundown more than the meaty unique stuff. I think Akuma no Uta is really where the garage stoner metal stuff came together perfectly--maybe cuz it's recorded on analogue and it's so danm raw. I love Raibow though. There's a couple really mellow songs that are inspiring. Altar really blew me away. Especially the vocal track--that song is amazing, yet not akin to either of those bands.
