ya heard of Duracell? (FIXD)

so i foudn this guy on the yotuube a year or two ago and hes sweet nad also jsut found a interview with him too

he plays drums with triggers on em going into a modular synth to play out the sequence, of like old video game music

He's not the drummer from Lightning Bolt no, just a fan.

I've played 2 gigs with him in England, really really good!

Very cool idea.
Not really very varied, though. Hope I don't sound mean, but he basically plays the same beats all the time, bam-bam-bam-bam with the cymbal and bass drum while pounding out a melody with his left hand. On the technical side it's pretty fun.

I think the reason it's appealing to many and sounds so cool in the live context is that you'd never have a live band of multiple people performing different instruments so perfectly and in sync no matter how much they practiced.
Having every note and riff trigger like that under the hit just sounds f'ing great.

that vid that M/AF/PF/KS posted is the first duracell vid i ever saw, and probably one fo the earlier ones on the tube.
the image is poor but the sound is epic.

what i dont get is why everyone is jsut standing and not raging around
