The "new" Susumu Yokota record is stellar. It's recordings from the early 00s, and sounds surprisingly comprehensive. Almost like a lost record. Still sad that he's not around anymore, but this is a great reminder of his genious. Do check out if you haven't already!

New 1-song album by italian artist Johnny Mox, 16minutes of just layered vocals over bass drones, no other instruments.

New Scorn LP, first new full length in 9 years, it's nothing groundbreaking, but just more of the same, which you'll likely dig hard if you're already into Scorn's massive slow dub beats and gut rumbling bass.

The Zonal LP is interesting. Can't decide if I like Moormothers vocals, but I'm all about anything Justin Broaderick does. The instrumentals are grimy as heck, as expected.

Ithaca album is amazing too. and Sect.

and Cranial, Monolord, Shades of Deep Water...

Man, 2019 has been a stone cold groove.

That cranial record is awesome.

Saw this band SUNORGAN a couple weeks ago and really loved it! They have a release from this year. https://sunorgan.bandcamp.com/album/sun-organ
They had a bunch of bands that all ruled on the bill. I forgot all their names. One band was like 100 gecs who also had an awesome release this year https://100gecs.bandcamp.com/album/1000-gecs. A.G. Cook did a remix of one of their trax. Also they've been on Adult Swim 'FishCenter Live' recently.

Standing by what I said b4. This is my single of the year.

Unrelated to the music but I love everything they're wearing, the background visuals etc. This is perfect to me. This and Warpmaster's video are like... pinnacle artistic expression.

Yeah that record sucks. And I was hoping it would be so good. Kind of how I feel about Monolord live and on record, tbh, but they seem like nice dudes, so no slagging.

But Scottish Space Race is on Spotify now. For people who use Spotify.

Monolord kind of fucking ripped so hard when I saw them last summer but tbqh I NEVER listen to their records and I didn’t even buy the latest one on Relapse. They seem like legit great people and they have sick rigs and stuff but like.... the repetition of each song is basically the same every record - slow intro, Wizard vocals, another part and then maybe it fades out. The riffs just aren’t that sick.
