Been diving into NWOBHM and I am shocked at how much it influenced early Metallica/Thrash in general. Avenger is a WAY ABOVE average NWOBHM band that put out this little gem. No Power Metal here just Rawness! The only downside of the production is the low volume of the guitar. Nevertheless, it is guitar-driven music. Their other songs on Blood Sports are in the same vein. Listen to enough NWOBHM and you can hear just about everything in Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning.

I heard this song yesterday and remembered I had listened to the first 3 Knife albums a ton like 10 years ago and then totally forgot about them, cuz this song sounds really similar to Silent Shout just more dancey.
Also just learned the singer was in an interesting rock band in the early 90s that seems worth checking out (Honey Is Cool).
