I could also see you with an AE modular. People have been using battery and solar to run them. Small, flexible systems. The dude is also putting out more and more modules. People are finding them easy to DIY. Form factor may not be your thing (micro cables).... Tuesday Night Machines is the subject matter expert.

Those cables absolutely put me off. They're great for protos, but I gave the Folktek Mescaline a shot and I hated it.

The new soundtrack to wielding knives....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0w4QjA-uYU

EDIT: Incidentally I was gifted a new knife today from my niece. It was a good day today. New knives, new pedal, and a new video from Contriviad. I also, saw the something that added years to my life on WIFE SWAP, by laughing so hard

I got a new knife blank seen here. I will be trying some dye on some burl materials I have for hand grips. It's a nice blade, mainly for camping and games of knifey spoonie.

“Off-topic” is a forum construct used to “shame” people. Not pertinent here.

On the contrary, post more knives. Or talk about your day. Any one find any yogurt lately that was still good?

It’s all relevant.

The weather is really nice outside so I'm staying in and fucking with gear and making music. Not in a causal sense, it's just what I wanted to do with my day anyway. I want to set up my music room properly, it's just been a total tip since I moved into the flat. Just instruments everywhere and a computer in the corner.

I envy you ;) .
It’s gorgeous on our side of the pond too. I will be outside doing “family stuff”. Which is great but... I just read this article on Erik Satie, and feel inspired!. Sounds like my kind of guy! Lived in squalor for years in a crappy apartment. At one point had 2 pianos. One for playing and the other one was situated on top of the playing one, and used to store drafted letters and crap. I always liked his music... but I just imagined him to be so much more... elegant?

Not you ideal workspace I imagine coldbrightsunlight!!! I know it’s not UglyCasanova’s either. Or most people....

New goals for the vision board.
1. Buy Foreclosed house in Vermont, NH, or Maine. You can get them for peanuts (compared to the Tri-State, maybe not compared to say Belieze).
2. Even though it would be a fixer upper... don’t fix it up. Just pay your taxes.
3. ???
4. Fill house with “found stuff”.
I’m really not ambitious  .
Anyone have experience with compost toilets? The idea irked me at first but then... I slowly became enamoured with it!!! No sewers (I could be wrong... I didn’t do my research “sorrynotsorry” )

Hey Sharky.. for some reason I think you have a 9 string. Is that accurate?

I do! It’s an Agile though so it didn’t cost a million dollars like other extended ranges. 30 inch scale.
If I had to do it again, I would have just gotten an 8 String used off craigslist. Not because the 9 strings are too many... I’ve just seen 8’s go for as little as $200. That said, I do like my Agile. I’ve had it for years now so the resale value is probably nonexistent. It’s like a marriage that was never supposed to be... but you’re in your 60s so at this point... it just is what it is.

I was definitely “being myself” when I bought that guitar.

I'd LOVE to try a >6 string guitar, but I'm not sure I need one. Low tuned 6s (baritone and drop C) suit my heavy things needs, but I'm very curious what they're like to play. Most of them look baaaad though.
