I would buy that black Mood and Westwood if I didn't already have a Mood and Westwood. A bit tempted by the Tensor. Was kind of hoping for a blacked out OBNE Signal Blender

It's your month bro, the rest of us are just transversing through it

Have to admit, dont get this concept of limited edition colors. I'm trying to stretch my brain to it but just not getting there. Though I bet if you bought one of each, aesthetically and sonically, you'd have a really cool boeard and an incredibly overtaxed credit card

I always think of this one when I see pedal companies releasing these very limited batches:

Haha, I'm being thick today and didn't get the joke at first

And I don't like spending (significantly) more for a limited edition colourway, but if there's an option for a standard or some alternate colourway, I'll usually opt for the alternate :idk:

I get that, variety is an herb of something or other :picard:

After I posted that, I did research how much theft, coercion and general criminality would have to occur to buy all of them. But my soul apparently was not dark enough to deserve them

At this rate, my expectations aren't high for a Thorpy phaser or ring mod. :idk: ---Honestly RM is probably too out there for Thorpy. Let's be honest, if Thorpy ever does a delay, it will be just be an expensive BBD with a drive pot or something.

I'd hoped for Lovetone 2.0 with this series, but it's more like a vintage tribute series with a hefty $300+ tag.

from the comments section--

Thorpy seems to have a more pronounced vibrato on all settings

Fair enough and on these demos alone, I think I'd have to go with the CE-2W.

Wait so the Minim is the same but has tremolo or something?

They don't sound the same to me. I dunno'.

yeah - harmonic-ish trem on the reverb tail. the reverb sounds warmer to me iso'd than the Rever, and the "harmonic" trem leans into that further. Actually, the trem sounds like a ringmod trem to me :idk: Anyway, I like it.

Also, Dan explains all the jawn:

Do I need another delay? Nah, but this thing surely makes some nice noises

Also, it's time for a 2020 happenings thread?

Their trem seems really cool too. I wish they had a US distributor.

Dang! You're always on the ball, aren't you?
Let me know how do you like it when you receive it!
I'd love to compare it to the Particle, some of the patches seem to overlap.

I only tried their standard delay and it was good. Nothing that made my head spin, but it sounded right.

I mean, delay...I can't help myself! Seems the Particle will still be broader, more programmable and more granular but I like the sound of this one from the demos. Especially in multi head.
Can't have too many delays, right??? <g>
