Bass VI Pickups

Bass VI Pickups

Does anyone have any suggestions for good pickup replacements for a Squier Bass VI? Nothing too high output, since that seems to these to mud.

Lace Alumitone Single Coils all day. Put them in my Bass VI and love 'em.

Mine came with a full set of '62 AVRI Jag pickups and it sounds quite nice. It's been a while since I had my old, stock VI... so maybe it's my mind, playing tricks on me? But I feel like these Jag pups sound much better.
