I'm not normally bothered by this sort of thing, but for some reason it's driving me insane that they inversed the knob orientation.

Still really want to hear it.

I imagine that the power jack would interfere with placing the tone knob at the top of the triangle, which would require them to have different boxes manufactured in order to put the power jack on the side. Too expensive to do for something trivial.

Wondering why this is $99 vs the $80 the other reissues are.

lol, maybe.
And it's 99.00, not 99.03 or 99.48 like they usually do with their stuff.

Although, shouldn't be 99.99?

oh well :(

I emailed EHX a few months back, suggesting they put out a special 50th anniversary muff pedal. Ah, here is the message (7/16/2018):

I have a ton of EHX pedals and love the Big Muff. I visited Kit Rae’s Muff page and realized the Big Muff will be 50 years old in 2019. Are you folks going to release a 50 year anniversary pedal? If so, do it in big box form (like the current nyc) with a red base/background and gold and black lettering :). Oh, and with a special 50th anniversary circuit (your choice). Any info on a planned release will appreciated!

Well, it looks like they (DIDN'T) took my advice! A 50 anniversary pedal deserved a big box and special celebratory colors. Anyway, you folks are welcome. I did my part.

I think they did a very good job with it.

There's a more doomy sounding perf board triangle I have that I would have liked it to sound a bit more like, but the sound they went with is very close to the more common triangle circuit variant - if there is such a thing.
