I live in Salt Lake, worked for Musician's Friend for years and got a bunch of Digitech/DOD hookups through them. Acquaintances with two people in the R&D of DOD/Digitech pedals. Harman axing the office in the Salt Lake valley was a bummer -- I've only had a few DOD/Digitech pedals (Digitech 8000 and 20/20 fucking amazing), and if it weren't for Digitech blessing all of us MF employees with an RP350 for only $20 for Christmas in 2006 or 2007 I probably would not have begun building pedalboards as soon as I was. So, to hear the only local company shutting down was a bit of a bummer. I am not from Utah originally but I've been here long enough that I feel like a Utahn and although I really hate this state, it sucks that the only players left in the game in the area are a few super boutique amp/cab companies.

I’m just being a salty pickle here

Anyway I’ve decided the life of a product consultant is not the path for me. I hope one day to see my vision of a ring modulator tuned to the pitch of the bleating of wild goats but for now I wish you all the best.

I was laid off at the end of March, spent a few months jobless before I scored another full-time thing. It's not pedal making, but the new career is an upgrade in many, many ways. Right when I started working again, I stumbled into a few contracting gigs with some prominent pedal dudes. So I went from underemployed, to unemployed, to super-employed. Life is really good right now.

This is a joke leaves turn I love you.

Dude, I would've loved to redo the Death Metal - try and make it as flexible as the Carcosa.

Meatbox reissue is already selling for $250-$300, so they clearly didn't make enough of them.

They should have re-issued the Buzzbox and Punkifier too.

I'm kind of sad that I didn't buy a Gonkulator at the clearance price.

Gonna need a new thread soon with a new company name.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Google stalking shows what looks like a nice shop space.

I'm envious and excited at the same time!
