Travis Bean was first in 1974. Gary Kramer split and started his own company later. Though apparently Veleno was in 1972?

I didn't know about any of this shit, but already hated Behringer for their boring garbage product line. I'm happy to let confirmation bias do all the heavy lifting from here.

One can believe that there's no ethical consumption under capitalism wholeheartedly while also believing it's less unethical to buy things from capitalists who are honest and don't steal. It's not a nihilist get out clause from any personal responsibility because you read a Marx quote on a T-shirt once.

Huh. Well, I was pretty on the fence about them since I always thought of their $30 Superfuzz knockoff sounding pretty good for the price. But now that I've read that piece, screw those guys for real.
But then, I was also in no hurry to buy that $30 Superfuzz knockoff to begin with... but still: screw those guys for real.

Here's my thought process on this issue. If I were a non forumite person, I would mostly likely not even know that Behringer was just cloning stuff. So, I would say most people are probably ignorant to that because they are looking at $$$ before anything else. The reason for that is quite simple. Money talks on all levels. Sometimes you want something and you can't afford the extra cash to get it, so you buy a cheaper, probably crappier version.
Is it right? No, of course not, but it's done across the board with literally almost everything. China clones everything known to man. I wouldn't be surprised if they were cloning people now (hah).
You cannot stop the machine and you have to be aware of the machines existence to even rage against it (God I'm a word smith).
YOLO bitches. YOLO

Is this the time I put an ILF sticker on a Behringer product and cause heads to explode?

GO FOR IT!
(I mean, this is ILF, after all)
Wait, whose heads are exploding here? Is this ILF Voodoo where the Behringer guy's head explodes?

Probably not, since, well, Uli doesn't care.

It would also go with...
