Everything I've heard from this has made me rethink my previous anti-gas associated with flangers. Sounds really good. Going to wait a bit on it, because I have a feeling that a flanger is going to be like the 3 tremolo pedals I've owned, just to realize I never *actually* use those effects, but I can't wait to try it out soon.

Also I really like the colors, the Heaven's Gate purple and David Icke turquoise are pretty distinctive but not too gaudy or anything in my opinion.

Sure did. I'd like a demo with some different basses and playing style.

From what I've heard from Andy, it sounds great. Though it might have to much resonance for my tastes, not sure yet. The more demos, the better. There are a ton from what I've seen and the best I've seen so far is from Kayzer.

"Too bright" and "metallic edges" are two sides of the same coin.

Neither "too bright" nor "too dark" are good options for flangers. Sometimes I'd love it if flangers had tone controls.

BitQuest has a tone knob...

BitQuest has a tone knob, but, if I remember correctly, it lacks a delay time control? :idk:

Your mom lacks a delay time control.

 OK, so, which of the following controls does BitQuest flanger lack then?: feedback, depth or rate?

It has rate, feedback, delay time. So no depth but it has a tone knob.

So, I guess it's a give and take. I personally use a depth knob more on phasers and chorus effects but maybe it's because I haven't used one on a flanger in awhile and I forget what that sounds like.

I actually like how cold this sounds the more I listen to it.

I'd love to give it a go at some point.

Yeah, I liked the BitQuest when I tried it. I just thought it did a lot of things well, but not as well as standalone versions of those effects. :idk:

I like my flangers complete with feedback, delay time, depth and rate controls.

The Pyramids has all those. :snax:

What's up with everyone "not being into flangers"?

It's the best kind of modulation
