Right right, I'm with ya. There's another pedal called the Beholder but it's waaaay more aggressive than this one.

Yea man, I've seen a bunch of videos on them and they sound really cool. I've never had the chance to play with one though. Out of all the filthy reverbs I've played, the Beholder is probably my favorite.

Dude! Good looking out! I was happy when I saw Chords of Orion on their page. I've never heard of that company before. That pedal does sound really nice (kinda like a middle of the road distorted reverb, from the video I saw anyway). That guy has a way of making everything sound so nice. Thanks man!

:thumb: no problem. I've been looking for a new reverb lately and those, as well as the Rainger FX Reverb X are on the list. I wish I had one to let you demo.

A poop coloured pedal, that costs twice as much and sounds little like the other one. Good rec! :p

RM-1N definitely sounds different from this and the beholder. Like, way different. The most apparent thing is the dirt, which on these newcomers are tame by comparison. Pretty weak, I'd say. It's like saying someone who wants a gnarly muff should just get an overdrive pedal or something. :idk:

Aren't you the guy with the good ears? :p

Do we? RM-1N can do these sounds, I think, but it can also go way more extreme. [pigeon emote]

I want something that can do tamer AND more extreme than those really...which I think the RM-1N can do.

I just can't afford it

I'm pretty sure the other person was implying they DON'T sound similar. "little like" as opposed to "a little like"... gotta love the English language

There's so much information in this video so I won't get in depth here. There's some really interesting info in the video description on YouTube. It's TOTALLY worth checking out. There's a supplemental manual and a ridiculously cool excel sheet with delay times and all kinds of ratios.

I was pumped to get this because the original WoP was one of the first videos I did that looked half-way decent. I didn't know exactly what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The pedal can get pretty nasty with the fuzz but I wanted to try and make it sound pretty... it does a good job :) There's a few gross parts in there too ;) Waaaaaaay more sounds hidden in here that I thought would be, especially when you add the delay.

Here's the Serpent Cult from Homenoise Effects (now in Denmark). It's a silicon fuzz and it's pretty damn gnarly. The Bias knob gets all spitty and the small switches can be used to shape the tone. It's a nasty fuzz, just nasty.
