One or two people on the board live there and it was discussed a little bit (last year?). The library actually has their rentals posted online---it is certainly enviable.

That was me. The public library just had a Mini Moog fest today. I’ll post photos later. It was unbelievably bonkers. Red Panda was there (played the Tensor). Minimoogs, Sub Phatty/37s, Mother 32s, couple theremin, full minifooger line. 5U rack, North Coast Collective, so much modular from the performers I can’t even comprehend it all. Probably 10 different 6-12U racks.

I’m reeling from it right now. I’m seriously so confused about what I just heard and saw AT A FUCKING LIBRARY.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

I think after all the major purchases I need to do (pay for my friends re-burial, pay off my CC's, pay down my loans...), that I may explore modular. So, in like 5 years. LOL.

I'm really interested to say the least, but man, it looks like a rabbit hole and I'm trying not get into one of those again. The Folktek Mescaline is cool too and it makes me wonder what else it can do with other stuff. I guess that's probably how modular stuff starts. I'm listening to Vid's advice too. :)

After seeing bearmountain's O-Coast in person, I kinda want one.

There is some interesting info in here for hackers and solder monkies. http://noyzelab.blogspot.com/2017/11/mo ... -into.html

Yeah, if you have time and can solder then you can do a LOT of things for much cheaper, thanks to several people who designed great modules and made them open source (Olivier Gillet, Tom Whitwell, etc.).
