Ive made this point previously, but a little box format with an expression pedal input would be peachy.
Cute DOD expression peds for all.

No confirming or denying. I also saw Tom Morello has a Space Station on his board now...

I'd rather see a Ricochet/Freqout type box where you can have the automated sweep of the expression pedal. Couple of the famous modes and it would be a beast in a small enclosure.

I would hate if they replaced expression pedal control with an LFO.

And if they don't keep it yellow I'm taking all of you to court.

The Ricochet isn't an LFO. Its just an automated sweep in one direction at a speed you select and a return at another speed you select. It does everything you might do with an expression pedal with the exception of leaving it in one place, which Im sure they could do with another switch or knob.

Oh, that was probably Ford. There were two shows within days of each other and I got them mixed up, Jonni was at one and Ford at the other.

I've really grown to dislike LFO's and other forms of predetermined parameter sweeps lately because they are so darn predictable every darn time...

I'm gonna toot my own horn here, IMHO the Ricochet control is the best compromise between a full treadle and an LFO. The ability to control both rise and fall times, independently is crucial, also the ability to release the sweep mid way through travel is great for hitting those in-between spots.

I heard if Kirk Hammett had his way, this'd be the title of the next Metallica album.

Thinking about possible worlds where Kirk Hammett gets his way is a dark philosophical endeavor, indeed.
