I think my output jack is wonky though. Works fine with headphones, not great with 1/8th to 1/4 out. Any ideas?

granny2kit is a lil application i made awhile ago that helps auto rename your .wav files within a chosen path to the granny naming scheme (A0....ZZ)
the README explains it all in more detail. its pretty simple to use and will copy your sounds first to a new folder to avoid renaming your original sounds.
does NOT at all affect your ability to sample & save live sounds as u normally would
these are reserved filenames that start w/ a number instead of a letter. like 1A or 7P.
u would still need to make sure your .wav's are in the correct format before loading onto your card.
i believe its 16 or 8 BIT, 22050 Hz, MONO .wavs but refer to the bastl documentation for specifics.
PCM always works for me if u have that option of .wav type.
get a batch .wav converter program. there are prolly several free. i use a free one called SWITCH.
for OSX only
but prolly could whip up a windows version pretty easily if anyone is interested. i think its pretty easy atleast...
