Think I'm gonna stick to my usual plan: Buy a (used) decent clone for the hell of it, keep it if I like it, flip it if I don't.
Anything out there besides the EQD Bows that's not too pricey and relatively easy to come by in Europe?

But yep, to echo previous comments, treb boosters have a special kind of magic. Aggressive, and really great for cutting through in a band situation. An EQ would def get you in the ballpark, but it's a different sort of thing.
