So... you'd still have to buy another reverb? Or could you run that and the spring at the same time?

You can run two patches simultaneously is the idea.

The more I read about this thing the more it seems like a great idea. Wonder how extensive the delay capabilities are?

So you're telling me that on one footswitch I can have a RE20 delay, including treble and bass controls, and on another I can have an RV5?! With presets?!?! I NEED THIS!!!

Will see if the Space Echo pre is included - that'd be the seal the deal for me.

I know dude. That ALONE makes it worth the purchase.

Now I just have to wait until I have money free and clear and not charge this shit. LOL. I'm still paying for a bass purchase.

I'm getting both for sure though. Full on midi after too. :)

I am slightly confused by the RE20 mode, tho. BOSS's site says it "Recreates the Roland RE-201 Space Echo, one of the most coveted tape echo units ever made" which seems to imply that it will include the delay section? I love the terrible-sounding reverb on the RE20, so I'd be happy either way, but if this could provide tape delay in a pinch it'd be INCREDIBLE.

Manual has it only as the delay section, no verb.

Up to 10s, not 2.

REPEAT RATE 1 ms–10.0 s Adjusts the spacing of the echoes (delay time).
BPM
Specifies the tempo.
The range of this setting depends on the REPEAT RATE and NOTE values.
NOTE ˜–ª Adjusts the delay time. This is specified in terms of a note length relative to the
BPM.
INTENSITY 0–100 Adjusts the volume of the repeated echoes (the amount of feedback).
ECHO VOLUME 0–120 Adjusts the volume of the echoes.
HEAD SELECT 1–1+2+3 Selects the combination of playback heads.
BASS -50–+50 Adjusts the low frequency region of the echo.
TREBLE -50–+50 Adjusts the high frequency region of the echo.

totally missed that. fucking. awesome.
i'm glad i can call you a friend. even if i'll never see you again
