Stamme[n] by Drolo (V2 info on page 15!)

Post by UglyCasanova »

...and UC, just a little bit.

Image

David and myself ended up exchanging a lot of emails after I ordered the Molecular Compactor, and at some point I felt confident enough to ask him (as he's a great programmer and general duder) how difficult it would be to make the glitch pedal of my dreams. Many emails and revisions later, he is finally shipping me the finished pedal!

:zen: :zen: :zen:

Stamme[n] ('Stamme' meaning 'stutter' and 'Stammen' meaning 'the tribe' in Norwegian) is a glitch pedal with:
- Tap tempo (finally!)
- Sub divisions
- Momentary and latching modes
- Individual dry/wet level knobs
- 10ms to 1000ms sample time
- Manual sample size knob
- Samples can be mangled in both momentary or latch mode via the manual sample size knob or tap tempo

I'll post my demo as soon as I get the pedal. I'm just so hyped about this project that I had to share!

That's the plan! I don't know when or how many, but I'm sure he'll chime in and let you know. :joy:

Yeah I'm pretty keen on this. Seems like a really gratifying thing for you to have done too, especially if it's good.

That's pretty amazing! I have 2 molecular compactor boards and 2 molecular disruption devices but haven't made either yet :(

Awesome, looking forward to hearing it. Is this what is in the little clip on DRolo's website blog right now?

Thanks, my dudes! Drolo is da man! :zen:

Yeah, the clip on the site is the first version, I think. It's pretty much the same thing but with different modes. More streamlined now, I'd say.

Jwar: I don't have any active instruments unfortunately. Unless a synth would do. What's the issue you normally have? I know nothing about active basses. Is it that it's way louder?

This just killed my desire for all other glitch pedals honestly.
