General Gear Discussion - effects, synths, etc.

Damnnnn. For me, being the stereotypical person considering getting into synth mostly for drone and odd sequenced pad stuff to pair with guitar, this might be awesome.

Fuuuuuuuuuudge, I loathe crowdfunding but that's a good price on the pre-order... I'm gonna have to see what I can do here, Folktek's euro modules were staples of my system...

Done! Copper for me too! Sounds awesome, love their aesthetic, and actually have some funds available! Woo!
Edit: Also at that price, if I don't like it, flipping it will be easy

Yeah, I really don't think I will be flipping it, but still who knows
And It does sound really awesome; I just got through watching all the videos.

Screw it I'm doing it. I really am uncertain how to use it, but the little clicks beats video sold me. Should be fun and frustrating to explore
This is easily the most impulsive big purchase I've ever made. Really stoked!

Holy effing wow this could be the perfect device to see if I really do want to expand into Euro.
$399?!?! That's it?!?!
Fucking Spaceman is charging, what, $499 for his new stupid Fuzz?? And this is $399?!?!
What the hell. I think I'm gonna do it.
I'll need to flip a little so not sure I'll get the $399, but even at $449 that's still a steal.

ILF is slowly becoming a synth forum

It's not the easiest thing to wrap your head around from anything Folktek does but the cool thing is his stuff is all about experimentation. It almost makes things happen on it's own and much of what you will do will be unexpected results but awesome results none the less. His stuff is very inspiring in that way.... it's for the person who loves to just mess around with something and experiment and see what happens, not for someone who wants to recreate things twice... BUT with removeable breadboards you can actually SAVE patches by taking that breadboard off and leaving your patches on it and moving on to a fresh breadboard. That's pretty cool too.

It's both and that rules!

Retail is going to be $699. You won't have a problem making money on a flip...

Honestly I expect to go through an emotional journey with this. I'm anticipating being enamored by it, then frustrated and want to flip it, then finally actually learning the ins and outs of it and just using it as an instrument.

Yeah kinda wanna buy a few just to flip and then buy something I really want.

Neat! And that's a surprisingly generous early bird price. Tempting but I'm saving for other things :/

There's a giveaway going on Folktek's Facebook page for people who preordered
