Hmm. I see what you're saying, and having 2 on my board was kind of overkill at times, but I think this is a thing where you go "which one should i take" where the raster does the pitch/ring mod delay/delay/reverse better, the particle does the stuttery/glitchy/artifacty/hold better and the tensor will be the one that takes the pitchshifting/speed up/down/stretch to the next level.

You look at the 3 of them and go "this one suits me best", so maybe not as diverse as some companies that have 1 of each or something, this is like different takes on crazy delays.

I like it, the only thing I'd want is for them to give me the ability to change the core sound of the delay a bit more, tonewise, I think that'd be a big thing in making them stand out from each other. They're all very clean (even tho the particle is the cleanest, most digital clean and the raster a bit less so).

Hm...Haven't heard anything I can't accomplish of approximate with the Ct5 yet...thought this would be more like a paulstretch thing (and it still might be)...
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

the ct5 does overlap (does it do envelope hold yet? maybe it does in mode1, kind of, with that Q option). It overlaps with both rasta and particle, somewhat.

The raster unique ability is, for me, being able to put the shifter after OR in the loop of the delay, so either it keeps pitching up (á la particle/ct5) or it gets delayed and then everything gets pitched and stays there.

The particle does that beautiful LFO mode. mmMMmm.

I played the prototype during SXSW. I had absolutely no idea what was going on, but it was fun :animal:

Awesome. From the few videos that exist, it kinda seemed like they also had no idea. But everything else they've done has ended up so well refined that I trust this pedal will be massive when it is finally released.

But how will it compete with the Outward on ILF? :poke:

I'm getting whichever one I can get my hands on first. And then flipping for the other, if I feel so inclined.

Must. Stretch. Time.

When will then be now?

The impression I got from the marketing materials, specifically name dropping the Space Station, was that the Tensor was more of a dynamic thing you could manipulate with the footswitches. The Outward needs knob twiddling to get the time stretch effect based on every demo I've seen. Would be great to see a whammy ricochet type version of the Space Station mechanics where you hold a switch to slow the buffer and then let go to return it to normal speed.
