Saw this pop up in an email today. Looks dope. No experience with the newer PC based MPC. Have a 500 and just got a maschine rig up and running but damn I have the urge to sell all my junk to cop one. Could be rad. Has gate/cv outs.

if I were you, I would wait it out as Akai made those crappy timbre whatever that were really bad and when the MPC 1000/2500 came out they pretty much forgot about the firmware the instant they saw that computer production was gonna cannibalize sales in the hardware department. If it wasn't for JJOS the MPC 1000/2500 would be unusable for many.

Im interested in the live but I want to see what people say about firmware. If it works well enough, I might consider dropping both my DSI tempest and my squarp pyramid to make space for this bb
