I mean, that's not just a fuzz of course, and that's what makes it so versatile. But with CBA the ability to ramp fuzz parameters in real time without interacting with the knobs at all is a pretty nice innovation, wouldn't you say? It's not like they'd forget their dipswitches if they are releasing a fuzz. I would like to see something else, but I wouldn't complain about having a fuzz that could automatically raise & lower its gain/bias/EQ. Maybe that's just me though

Strange Tales wrote:Pretty Years is based on the WASP filter design, I'd be hard pressed to call that a fuzz first and foremost. I think it does have some sort of OD/Fuzz design since it has mutliple gain stages as well, but the WASP filter is super well known for being able to distort well.
