For myself, the idea of surviving without a Black Forest or my Iceman is pretty much unbearable.

What pieces of kit do you own that you feel a connection with? Beyond the normal realms of superlatives such as "like" or "dig it a lot"?
Talismans to the great ethereal dreamscape, enchanted weapons of ritual riffery, familiars to dazzling magic of aural light.

I just saw that in the lolcat thread. Poor little guy is messing with his mum's tough front.

If you feel an intense bond with a cat you can play musically then I suppose it does count.

hard to say since I'm ready to flip all of my gear if I have to and I've already flipped some gems. I would definitely feel naked without my RC-3 but I think my updated ct5 is the last thing I'll get rid of at this point

I'm going to have to go through scenarios and work out what would annoy me the most if I had to flip it, and also which thing make me happy just because they are there.
