i feel like there is this subtle overlap of the coolest gear thread and the ugliest. it is like this invisible line that weaves between the two. its almost like they are one in the same at times. sometimes the ugliest things in this thread, the truly ugly things, simply amaze me at their pure lack of aesthetics. But it is because of that overwhelming feeling that i am also at the same time filled with awe at points. its almost like the feeling of looking at a car wreck or a burning building, knowing that you should look away, and kind of want to, but at the same time you can't take your eyes off of it in pure fascination
