my lead rack is fucked beyond belief... anyone know a north american nord repair shop?

If all else fails contact the manufacturer.

nord is a brand of virtual analog synths manufactured by clavia, a swedish company. mine is a tabletop/rack version of their lead 1 synth.

This is actually an interesting question, because I also have a Nord rack, and I bought it used, so I couldn't bring it back to where I bought it. The website says that the distributors handle maintenance, and they do list a US distributor. That might not be a bad place to start. :idk:

emailed a week ago, got one response asking where i was located, and nothing since.

I would suggest just finding a local electronics/music store that does repair.

You probably aren't going to get anywhere with the distributor.

Shipping a NORD could be a serious pain in the ass, but I have had a lot of good dealings with DELTRONICS in chicago over the years:

They are pretty much electronic wizards. They can fix anything. They also might know a place in your area that does this kind of work.
