I don't know why I've never tried this before but I've just tried running my singing bowl through my Rainbow Machine (used a bullet mic I use for harmonica with the volume on full, just sitting on the floor right next to the bowl) - it sounded exactly like you'd expect but still a lot of fun, especially with the Magic switch engaged, or looping the ringing of the bowl for endless drones full of weird harmonics...

That sounds like a totally inspirational idea... record it and then try it though Paulstretch and pitch it down, I bet it would be fabulous!

I've actually Paulstretched my singing bowl on a few occasions and it is indeed infinite drone - I'm guessing it produces such a pure and unvarying sound wave that the fluctuations and decay you get from other instruments that get so drawn out when Paulstretched just aren't there. It's like a fractal - you can stretch the stretched bit and it'll sound exactly the same! My concertina is the same when I've Paulstretched it.

I've also Stretched the singing bowl then run it through the Rainbow Machine, see previous post about unending drones with weird harmonics!

This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Well, if you claim to not have an accent, your Rottweiler certainly does. :animal:
