Bandpass Filter for Guitar?

Anyone know of a simple filter with low,mid and high bands selector, a cutoff know and possible a Q/frequency knob? I know Squarewave Parade made the MoleS20R, i owned one LONG time ago but it was not true bypass... I am looking for something small and compact. Trying to do sweet filter sweeps with loops ala the popular Electronic Music that the kids are into nowadays. Wanting to bring this function to my pedal board. Any help and/or people who know builders who may construct such a device would be amazing.

This is true. Most of all that is based on turning the filter knob on a 303 and building it up to the drop.

You could do a moog midi muff with the lfo off and a cv pedal to control the mix or something. Sherman filter bank in an effects loop with CV control.

I think the moog mf 101 would work the best with the env off. Or the Koma Ft 201...it has bandpass And a built in cv controller.

OMG I LOVE YOU trippy but has anyone tried it with a guitar? I cannot seem to find any videos of this. What a sweeeeet device though. A little big though for my setup

Tried it, it didn't sound deep / synthy / heavy enough to me and it had some weird noise / power issues, the step thing was fun and seemed more useful to me than the MurF (shitty weakass filter if you ask me) but ultimately I think Koma stuff just isn't that great on guitar.
The Dr Scientist BitQuest, Moog MF Drive, Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe all sound much better / deeper / heavier / synthier than the Koma in my opinion.
For those Electro style expression or knob sweeps I'd get an MF Drive or a BitQuest, you could try that Dreadbox stuff too.

I'm glad that you liked it. You could always do a two tiered pedalboard and hide half of it under a shelf. I know disarm and UG use the bd 101 on guitar (as have i, but mine was used and shipped broken). The Koma stuff (newer ones) supposedly have an internal trimmer for guitar now. Here is one

don't know if it interests you. I have version 1 of this pedal without the drive. Can't find a video of it though. Just don't use it like a Wah haha.

The photo sensor on the Koma stuff is useless when played with your feet if you have socks and/or shoes on by the way.
I know they revised the delay to work better with guitar later on but I never tried it.
Always was interested in the Compactotron, especially that heel switch seems a pretty intuitive way to turn the filter on and off / gate the filter.

Yeah, the photo sensor was way better than the photo eyes on the E13 pedals I had (those were near useless to me) but I agree that you don't get the full sweep with the infrared koma sensors either. However, in the day that I had the bd 101, I did some adjustments to see if it was really broken (it was) and I tuned the eyes pretty good to get a better sweep. I think a cv pedal would be more intuitive for this application though.

The compactotron is alright. I really haven't given it a fair shake really. The heal switch is a neat idea but I'm not really a guy that taps alot with his feet when playing. I'm not the biggest user of cv pedals either. Probably why I don't play drums. But it does really make for some funky playing being able to reset the sweep of an auto Wah like thing on rhythym. I just don't need it to play Ramones/Rudimentry peni riffs. Playing funk, dance, and stuff like that (or techno influenced stuff) it would be awesome.

Awesome, yeah, didn't tamper with it internally but on the "factory setting" the photo sensor seemed quite unresponsive I think.
