Coooool, a StrangeMaster! What setting do you like the most on it? Germ, Silicon, etc.?

That's a great looking board, G.

hiorgos wrote:My first pic here. The board, as you guess, has had infinite changes through the years, but there are some pedals that keep staying on it. Astro tone, DL8, Vibe are favorites. And the Small Stone is almost always ON these days!.

I got the MM last week and the RRR arrived yesterday, and I just cannot stop playing these..

I need one more fuzz though.

Anyway, the board weights a ton now, so it will split in two soon, to have a handy compact one for easy grab and go.

Nice board... what is in the loop of the Road Rage feedback loop?

Just the Memory Man for now, although the Maxon was usually on it too. It's quite useful as the MM has a volume jump when using the boost input, so with the MM all time on I just need to step on the looper to have the delay right there. Still have to find a nice spot on using the feedback. with it, it can get loud.

I shall introduce my board!

From the guitar I go to:

Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe Fuzz: Tell the guy that makes this pedals he is awesome!
MXR/CAE Line Driver: in behalf of tone's purity
TC Electronics Polytune: Well... you know.
ZVex Distortron: I actually had Fulltone OCD there, but I borrowed a friends Distortron and I'm in love with it.
Way Huge Green Rhino: An pretty bad-ass TS pedal
Electro Harmonix POG2: To get the weird sounds
BOSS RE-20: Sometimes this one, somethimes a DD-20. Depends on the mood.

I got it all set up on a Pedaltrain SC-2 and powered-up by a MBS Multipower.

Board rearranging and an addition. Might leave things like this for a while. Maybe invest in a stereo amp.

Even better, I always love throwing OD into muffs.
It has always yielded me some great sounds.
I plan on having 2 ODs eventually, pre muff and post muff.
I already have MK Behemoth, but I'm still in search of the "right" OD for me.

Yeah. The first time I played stereo I was like HOLY SHIT. It's just like a whole other dimension and fullness.

yeah it opens up a ton of sounds, and with a good stereo pedal makes crazy stuff happen.

I do love the fact that my old princeton chorus has the two inputs, I know it doesn't necessarily split stereo between the 2 speakers but it means that I don't always have to have 2 amps to justify splitting my signal

Have you tried Muff->Fuck? I've been running my fuck at the end of the chain and it makes everything sound huge and great.

Edit: implied Hoof -> Fuck sounding great. As well as my Algal Bloom -> Fuck. Makes the Algal Bloom a little bit bigger, but the Algal Bloom is already overdriving and "blooming" and all those other silly descriptions of its tone, moreso than the Hoof is alone.

During rehearsal last night, I tried stacking IC Muff -> Hair of the Dog, and it sounded so fucking huge. I'm going to have to force myself not to use it on every single song.
