Haven't tried it out yet but am excite. My stereo guitar head has XLR outputs that I've been running directly into my recorder, and I've been depending on the amp models in my DAW for speaker simulation, but the models are head-and-cab and not just cab, so there's an unnecessary and unavoidable tone stage in my chain, not to mention the potential for digital artifacts. This unit will eliminate the need for digital modeling and also means that I'm hitting my recorder with a well-rounded signal, which ought to prevent the levels from peaking or clipping in the unpleasant sound range typical for DI'd guitar.
UPDATE: it's perfect!
