yeah man. looks IMPRESSIVE.

buuuut not for me. i really dig the Separate Boxes For Separate Functions aspect of modular, and any time i've tried to roll with One Box To Do EVERYTHING, i just get overwhelmed.

but NEAT.

I hear you. The ORAC program just elevates the Organelle from fun cartoons noisemaker to an ER-301-alike. I am in favor of this development, having recently traded a Lyra-8 for an Organelle.

My Folktek Mescaline is traveling to Italy tomorrow and I have a Monome Teletype coming in from Australia :).
I'm getting new gear with the money I spent last year...

Oh god... ER-301 is available for order, but only 30 are available.

Must... resist... temptation.

Edit: phew they sold out.

Man, I saw that and they must have been gone in 5 minutes. That's fine. I really did NOT need to spend $900 this morning.

whoa this track is wild, what's handling what duties?
very excited to go home and update my organelle now, this seems like *exactly* the kind of workflow I have been longing for so I'm glad I held onto it for so long.

Everything that's not a drum is a chain in ORAC. There are a couple different chains in 'n out over the course of the thing. Didn't note down what's in the chains.

I'm also very excited to go home and mess with it some more!

Doing stuff like setting up a polybeat module to sequence multiple layers of synthesizer rules face. And etc. --> infinity.

Sick! I've definitely used the Polybeats to send MIDI to my 0-coast or other modular stuffs, but doing so on-board sounds HOT. If they add a 4-track recorder I'll throw my OP-1 in the daggum ocean
Can you, like, send the polybeats audio parallel to the synth voice receiving its MIDI sequence (so you'd hear both drums/samples and the synth voice)? I don't see why not, but the videos I've seen weren't explicitly clear about that.

If I understand you correctly the answer is "yes." And even if I'm misunderstanding, the answer is "probably" :)

I've been really blown away by how well the three sisters and mangrove sound with each other. Of course it makes sense, same manufacturer and all, but damn you can really pull apart the sound of an oscillator with this pair. Stretching and pulling harmonics from everywhere.

Now you can use one as a filter, and the other as an oscillator! :!!!:

INDEED. I've said it before, but cross-modulation is the key with all of the Mannequins stuff... :trippy:

yessss. i keep meaning to and it's just so goood aa a filter that i get distracted.

and yeah. Mangrove sounds GREAT into Sisters and into itself.

patching the 'Grove' s square out into it's Air in was doing some neat occasional rising distortions.
