fuck off the both of you. i LOVE Rings. i mostly use it in two or three twankiticky settibgs, but i adoreeee it. and the Odd and Even outs being processed differently? DELICIOUS.

...... like. fuck you both in a gentle and loving way after a long preparatory massage with mellow Get Ready For It sitar based drone musics.

LOVE Fuck the both of you.

Don't get me wrong, it is gorgeous & I probably won't get rid of it, but I used it in every patch for 2+ months after I got it and the sounds start to get redundant, especially since I would almost always use the String voice. Using the red one primarily has been a nice experience so far though.

solo tunes:
completed works || loosey goosey releases
associated acts:
Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

Five pitch sequences? I use mine almost exclusively for modulation. That + the arpeggio feature rules.

I use it for pitch and for modulation, but it's not fun to program for me - it feels more like a chore than something exciting most of the time. Maybe keeping it around for a while to do modulation stuffs while I let Pressure Points and/or Rene do some of the heavy lifting with pitch sequences would be more intuitive for me.

Yah, man. I'm not even trying to program it per se. I make the thing puke random or randomized sequences all over the place. For this application, it rules.

Rings is very nice. I sold mine because I was crossing over into dependence on it. I'm sure after a hiatus I'll pick one up a gain but my Rings addiction was getting out of control.

I mean, I love running a saw through rings and then running that through the ultrafold. Keep the VCO pitch constand, but running super slow LFO with the attenuverter barely off zero. It's fantastic. I'm mostly over it as a voice where it's the first thing I can pick out of someone's music.

Has anyone made synth modules from various schematics, like instead of prefab module kits and stuff? Like a cobbled together DIY modular?
I've been toying with this idea.

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/ME ... 8MVg%3d%3d

"Desktop AC Adapters 60W 15V 4A Medical Power Supply"

My understanding is that that fixed the grounding issue that was causing problems with the capacitive touch plates like Pressure Points and Rene. So it should be fine. What power board does it have? Make Noise likes a Volgren(sp?) that has 4.3A at 15 v I think.

murrrrr not sure. guess i could ask. he sent a link to that Meanwell buggerererer and said it was the recommended brick. think i'll just try it, try something else if it's a problem. i'm not going to have any MN touch stuff in there. i..... don't really dig that. MIGHT grab a Tetrapad at some point, but that would probably be in another case.
