also, since my good separate inputs mixer took a shit on itself and i've been frustrated as HELL with the 10 input mixer THAT ONLY RECORDS A SINGLE STEREO CHANNEL FUCKING STUPID PIECE OF CRAP..... i'd really like to go to a rackmount USB audio interface. but past time i went through 2 or 3 and all of them distorted from Euro Levels.

any suggestions? at least 8 ins, would prefer more. be great to stay at 5 hundy, 7ish at the most? are Motu still good boxes?

as per a Muffer's suggestion, leaning towards the Focusrite 18i20 with an Octo Pre to get 16 channels of delicious interface. murp?

edit - annnnd IGNORE ME. having volume control nearby is USEFUL, so ordered a Focusrite 8 input desktop thinger and the OctoPre so 8 ins from the desker, 8 from the the adat Octo.

hopefully it's a solid setup?

it's goooood. i like the Prism, but pretty one dimensional? Chords is a KEEPER though.

this is SWN doing it's thing, just clocked to the tempo, no v/oct CV, Chords Main Out then Root a bit later, playing with some Assimil8or presets, Metron and FLXS doing the controlling thing -

Thread was almost a the bottom of the page so I have to FIX IT by saying

Echophon sold, want Mimeophone nao. The Skew mode where it offsets the delay times of the left and right channels is exactly how the delay in the Korg DS-10 nintendo cartridge works and I WANT THAT. :excellent: You can create so much stereo-depth with that sort of set up. It also just has everything I wanted my echophon to have.

Yeah agreed on Mimeophone. Make Noise making my wallet :( ...

My rack is surprisingly without any dedicated delays at the moment. Sold the Black Hole DSP2 and the Magneto AND the Chronoblob 2... Really hoping the Mimeophone comes quickly and fills that void for me.

Toyed with the idea of getting a Rainmaker but that new Meris pedal does everything and more that I would use the Rainmaker for, in a more convenient form factor, so I'll probably get that at some point too.

Anyone here have the Instruo Cs-L? Been thinking about the complex oscillator life and he seems on top of things lately.

I ended up getting a few 1U modules in the mail today; Zeroscope, Quadratt, abd Audio I/O jacks for my Intellijel 4U case. I ordered them with the case awhile ago, but they were all backordered. Anyways, I am so happy to have an oscilloscope back in my rack. The Zeroscope is super simple, but seems to work really well. I had a quick wiggle with it and the Just Friends. I see myself using it to thoroughly learn the Just Friends and Cold Mac. I'm also really happy with the Audio I/O. Another incredibly simple module, but I'm currently using it to send the output of my modular into a H9 running the Blackhole reverb and it's fucking massive!
