I mean considering they're just screws, they're pretty damned expensive! $40USD for a pack of 100 on Perfect Circuit, which is like 4x to 10x the cost of any other screw on their site! That being said, they're a little more than "just" screws; the convenience of being able to finger tighten them and the included washers are phenomenal and totally worth it in my books

I kinda want a Rings now, I've been playing the modular physically through my Mikrophonie (and I have the Kommander + quNexus in addition), and Rings would be perfect to do this a bit further. I modified my 7U planning/adjustments (the case is full but I want to change some modules bit by bit)...

I'm also going to get a Digiverb 1U with my 7U softcase when my local retailer gets them next month, I've been using my picoDSP for reverb lately but freeing it for other duties would be nice (and having reverb at other points in each patch's signal chain too).

Got mine in yesterday!!!
I spent a little time with it as an osc and *very* little time with it as a processor. It's super gorgeous. Immediately I was able to get a pure Rhodes tone without any of the clackiness of the mallet. I've got a short clip on my instagram story (@EvanGordon) you can see for the next ~12 hours, but I'll post a longer one that'll stick around soon enough!

Raab Zamboni (fake jazz/real noise//sax, modular synth, editing, misc) || Field Guide (my best friends//sax on 2 tracks)

I make t-shirts, patches, koozies, buttons, CDs, sometimes tapes, and eventually i'll start working on pedals again. DM me for pricing!

Dude, that's awesome! Sounds like upright bass! I fucking looooove that plucky sound I've heard coming out of the Rings, makes me wanna just disappear in to a cave of wanna be Steve Reichness and never come out.

annnnnnnd if i lurv the E950 as much as i think i'm going to, have to figure out how to fit the Expander too. because SO HAWT.

All this Rings love is getting to me because I'm starting to get really tired of mine altogether. I'm getting the same feeling I got with the Telharmonic after a long time with it. The sounds aren't as inventive anymore and anytime I patch it I'm immediately stuck in a rut with everything.

...Anyone want a Rings?
