K, so, expression pedals...

Postby McSpunckle » Thu Nov 20, 2008 12:05 pm

What are good universal expression pedals? Eh?

Imma need one... or 2... or 3...

For the Hog, Malekko 600B, and probably other things...

The HOG came with one, but it's a plastic M-Audio dealy, and it works well, but I'd like a nice, heavy duty one.

So... Moog? Uhh... who else makes them? :?:

Hehe. I should have seen that coming.

I'll probably order a peep soon, but I still want real expression pedals for... real expressioning.

Actually, I think the peep might work better for the delay, now that I think about it. But when using the HOG like a whammy... or using the "gliss" setting... I think a real expression pedal would be better, since I like to leave it in one setting.

i have a moog and the m-audio jawns. the moog is much better in terms of build n shit. and i think it has a pretty nice sweep range, wider than the m-audio.

How convenient - I think Onyxrhino posted something about having a Moog expression pedal up for sale in the by buy/sell/trade section...

Wow, that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Did Devi come up the idea?

I've got a moog and it is a decent cheap expression pedal. I wish it were steel and built like a brick shithouse, though.

Without a doubt, my hands-down favorite is the Yamaha FC-7. It's size, feel, and travel range are all pretty much perfect for me. Not to mention you could throw it against moving traffic and it'd probably just bounce off with no harm done (to the pedal; can't say about the car it hit).

Unfortunately, it's got a funky voltage value and usually "does not play well with others", unless you happen to be another piece of Yamaha gear. :grumpy:

Toneczar makes an expression pedal out of the ernie ball vpjr.

However they are about 115 bucks. And i think there is a waiting list.
