I am not really a wah guy, so I am curious about the other pedals in that enclosure..

But the Superego seems cool, although I hoped it was more some kind of a weird synthesizer on its own..

I don't understand how words "synth engine" are related to what Super Ego does.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I was expecting it to be like something in the ball park of my EQD Bit Commander but it's more like a Freeze, part Rainbow Machine (with the gliss mode anyway), and I don't know what else but it doesn't sound very 'synthy.' :idk:

9:22 right here we have a batery door, very excited about this.

mmm, yeah okay, I'm cool, nice to see people SO excited about a battery door.

How about power adapter cable, isn't it going to drop off when You rock that bitch on the floor? ... It can't be velcro'd down to the pedalboard either, and all that is going to keep it in place are the neighboring pedals' fx cable plugs, right? Isn't that going to be a strain on them? Huh? :?:

The Superego though seemed like an interesting new take on the Freeze. I liked that, a lot, though it hardly is a synth pedal really, not like the micro synths are.

I dunno, in the video the wah didn't seem too abusive of the cables, i'm not saying it's the best design ever but, may be not quite as bad as it appears. It also seemed a very stable design, monostatic?

We're all taking the SuperEgo synth description from one snippet of text from the madape site, EHX might word it better and as someone mentioned previously, synths have glissando so it does make some sense. Whatever, I need one... maybe two.

yeah, I know, it's little misguiding since there are already the actual synth pedals by EHX.

BUT then again, there's a great deal of good pedals with shit in their name taht has nothing really to do with the actual sound or the electronics used to produce the sound, but rather the name is meant to support certain associated imagery about the sound. :idk: Like with tape echo pedals that have very little to do with magnetic tape technology. Lands there perfectly. You know, marketing.

Yeah, not as interested in the superego as I thought I would be. Might have to give one a try sometime, but I won't be running out the door on the day it drops.

i dunnnnnno. the Wah sounds...... a'ight. it's an asinine design (that RHYMES) though. and the Ego sounds like strained poo cutlets to me. but i don't really like that breaking hard high end shimmer stuff. reminds me of the awfulness of the octave up on the Micro Pog.

gawd i hate EHX stuff.
