That can frequently be the case in Canada. People list things based on what they "can get in the US",
but the items for sale in most parts of Canada just don't have the same volume of audience of potential buyers.
The listers would then counter that the pool of available products is therefore smaller too. Viscous sickle.

Also... random and severe currency fluctuations get people pissy and mercenary (here and elsewhere).

In tensify that by being an island in the Pacific with brutal import taxes and shipping fees and youve just described the Australian gear market.

I feel you. Of course the porous (one-way) connection between Canada and the US culturally (if not commercially)
tends to exacerbate the situation. The Great Lakes are pretty big, but hardly represent the logistical barrier to
commerce that the big wide Pacific Ocean does.

but I'm fairly sure the cars and motorcycles you have in Aus more then make up for all of it. I'd being pissing ass around in a late 60s Holden Monaro or Ford Falcon when not riding my deus ex there.

Those space stations are over hyped. I had one when they came out, it made weird noises, I don't remember any being particularly unique to whats available today. The switches suck. Its built pretty chinzy. Its a huge tone sucker. There is a ugly digital sheen over all of it and it goes into nasty digital clipping really easy.

Yeah, there are definitely drawbacks that I've seen people fix.
Dan (dminner) put it in a true-bypass loop.
Some dude in the DIY section put nice modern switches in it.

I can't think of a whole lot of pedals that can do all that it can do (certainly some cover it, but I don't think every effect it's got has been covered, yet), though. Digital "sheen" can be cool in the right context (Whammy IV, for example). :idk:

You'd think that the popularity of the PDF-1/PDF-2 would actually drive prices down on the Maestros.

This gives context to all the strange particles I keep finding in my Panda Express. Must be that Raster man in the back kitchen.

This seems like a solid deal for someone wanting a working organ. $400 shipped.

There's a bunch of other QOTSA tour gear here. It looks like they're liquidating with no effort to inflate the prices.
