These are nice for people who enjoy stacking flangers/modulation. I've got two. $50 shipped.

If anyone's looking for vintage pads, this JVC 700 is a great sleeper option. No MIDI, but it is analog and can cop classic strings & retro soundscapes.

$10+shipping, 4hrs to go. I'd buy it, if I had room for another 5-octave keyboard.

No pic yet, but Algal Bloom $79

Kinda high if they don't have the power supplies or matching boxes (listings don't specify), but the sickest finish variants on these Guyatone Flips:

Like you said, kind of high especially without power supplies. There was a minute where those would have been good prices...but now the metal masters go sub $100 all day. I’ve been tempted to get another several times when they are around $50. I still need that purple.

I feel like I've seen similar items in the past, so I highly doubt it's a one-of-a-kind. There's probably more that went out to dealers years ago. If it was a one-off & >30 years old, it'd represent a pre-Juszkiewicz era of history, so I could see it being worth over $300 to a diehard Gibson collector.

It really needs a backstory and photo documentation of luthiers/celebrities with it. Half a guitar needs more than half a story to climb into that price range. $175-$300 seems far more reasonable, if the guy has no pics or concrete history.

To non-Gibson junkies (like most of us?), though, it's just a somewhat silly novelty.

It's still not as obscene as those clowns trying to sell 40-year old plastic Strat knobs for $300.

Guitar Showcase in San Jose has a similar display item, a Martin acoustic with large portions missing to allow the bracing, purfling, etc. to be seen.

They have stuff like this at NAMM to show the construction of the instrument. At least I saw them when I went. It seemed odd and stupid to me, so I didn't pay much attention.

The fact that someone would buy that is also odd and stupid.

At least Billy Bigmouth plays "Take me to the River." This doesn't play anything.

This is ridiculous for $550 shipped! I have a one-off 70-watt version of the same amp, it's like if Trainwreck made a Hiwatt. Insanely loud, punchy and responsive. This version is a little less extreme (breaks up more readily without sterilizing anyone in the vicinity, gets pretty grindy with the preamp/power amp boost switches on and volume up), but it's still super dynamic and immediate. They were designed and built by the guy from Ark Amps and the guy from Phaez Amps, fell between the two brands price-wise and feature-wise, mostly $1500-2k new. Fairly light, too. I think my 70-watter is like 35 lbs.
