I don't remember many clean clones with pro silkscreening in 2007, so there's some slim chance his story (or at least parts of it) check out. One hiccup (beyond just general skepticism) is the little 'dh' at the bottom. Dan Coggins' was the engineer and Vlad was the founder. So what is 'dh'---a working title? Also, I don't think I've ever seen any Lovetone prototypes in the wild. Perhaps if you took that apart, you could make a stronger case that it's an actual Lovetone build. ---Just throwing out my initial thoughts, for the sake of entertainment.
I had a production Wobulator circa 2009 and it was buggy, too. I couldn't get the pan to work in stereo or something like that. You would think it would be fairly simple to use, but it was kind of a pain to get nice sounds, by employing both channels. ----The Vox Vibravox, however, was really easy to get great sounds from, and it was a 2-channel trem/vibe box. I still think it's a shame those were discontinued. To this day, it's better than most tremolos you can get your hands on.
The pedal in the picture was made by Dirk Hendrik and Im pretty sure that's waterslide decal and not a silk screen.
