Sorry for being out of communication.
Until now nothing much has changed. I have everybody's addresses, but the box is not yet finished. Last time I talked to Chris he said the boards were populated and the box drilled but the wiring was still to be done. I've sent him a reminder this morning, but no reply yet. Let's hope this gets off the ground quickly now!

Cheers everyone, thanks for the patience and I hope this doesn't reflect badly on me. I was (and still am to a lesser extinct) carried by enthusiasm for a small builder. And small builders struggle as they learn the trade. I try to be patient with Chris and hope for a box that makes tectonic plates crap their pants!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

The tourbox won't be happening (any time soon).

I've talked to Chris on the phone the day before yesterday, and in the last 1-2 months his business has been exploding. As in growing exponentially. He now has a german distributor which means he has to build stock for that dude and there are also lots of orders on his waiting list. I think it was something like 20 customs plus a whole lot of stock pedals. All of which he has to build on his own, while working a day job, having a band and some remnants of a life (girlfriend and such).

He feels appropriately terrible about this, but I told him that a) he's not the first builder struggling with sudden increase of demand and b) it's better to end something quickly instead of dragging stuff out and making everyone unhappy about it. So the box is nearly built, as far as I know and he says he will definitely finish it some day, but it's pointless to give an estimate. Should we ever start another tourbox it will be advertised after the contents are built and ready.

I'm really, really sorry about this, so is Chris.

Oh and any of you that have bought anything, t-shirts or pedals, will of course receive what they ordered. It's just that he doesn't find the time to finish the tourbox.
Any complaints: I'm here for you and Chris is on facebook and in my experience replies like a champ: https://www.facebook.com/jptrfx/

Well, shit.

:grumpy:

So the shirts will get sent out them as paid for, no need to add extra for shipping or anything like that? I guess I'll try to message him on FB.

Still seems like cool stuff from a cool guy, hopefully a box can get pulled together at some point in time.

So saw that JPTR is releasing a cool new pedal, but it seems Fuzzrocious and Electro Faustus are releasing basically the same thing.

JPTR Fx is releasing a deluxe version of their Drum Thing which is a spring reverb and fuzz combined and it's only like 150. The Fuzzrocious combo is 300. I know that they advertised one Ryan's page, which pissed him off (understandably). But here's the question

Which would you guys go for? I'm seriously interested in one of these and it's a hard fucking decision! I've got to take the price into account for sure...I like Electro Faustus a lot and I like Ryan from Fuzzrocious, but the price on the Drum Thing Deluxe is unbeatable...

OH I will say the Fuzzrocious looks like it has more options.
