Looked at the Kowloon Walled Bunny? That's a nice one I've tried. Other than that the Gray Channel looks cool though I haven't personally tried one. But I doubt you could go wrong with the DOD reissue.

The salt box doesn't have a tone knob though the kill kill filter exists, sure, but it is INTENSE and makes it a very different pedal. I do not think a tone knob is needed with this circuit

Yeah, even if they're being made again, the shipping and customs and taxes would ruin the deal for us Eurotopians.
I read everywhere that the 250 is all treble and no lows when the gain's dimed. Maybe just the nature of the beast
They can be found cheap enough though, might as well find out myself.
