Issues with the Reverberator

Postby Abanoise » Sun Feb 14, 2016 10:27 am

Yesterday, during a sound check just before our gig, my Reverberator appearently left me... When I engaded it, no sound passed through, even if I could see that the led was on. Has anyone already experienced such problem?

That's a bummer. I'm sure Ryan can get you fixed up. Is it the hard switch bypass version or soft?

It's the hard switch model.
Ahah yes, also borrowed differents power adaptors from the other bands... When I switch on the pedal, the led is ok, but there's no output. Once bypassed, the clean sound is unaffected.

If it's just a switch, I can find some good friends and technicians here in Italy, and avoid double overseas shipping and import fees.

Wait wait wait! I've just tried again my Reverberator and mysteriously - and luckily - now it's working! Don't ask me why... Same configuration of yesterday evening, same gear, same cables, nor a pedal added neither a pedal removed. Yesterday we spent quite an hourbefore the gig trying the pedal in other boards with different power supply, but it was always dead silent.

Still sounds like switch, they can be intermittent. Don't be surprised if it gives you more trouble.

I'm sure it'll be easy to find someone local to replace it if it keeps acting up.

Worth noting you won't pay any import fees for a repair, that's only when you're purchasing stuff.

Bad contact or joint somewhere. Likely the switch, as stated.

Yeah, for sure. I really love how it sounds, and I also need it live for a couple of songs...

Yesterday we had to erase this from the setlist:

as you can hear, it's only delay and Reverberator! :omg:
