For real. I think I was like the 5th+ person who had it, and that was years ago.

Elements is a distortion/OD/boost/eq. Depending on how you set it you can get into muffy fuzz ish tones but it's not really a fuzz. With the clipping diodes you can dial in pretty much any flavour of distortion.

The Frazz is a unique sounding fuzz. It's more saturated and fizzy and unruly (but totally controllable). The low gain side is nominally low gain.. But it still gets nuts maxed. Cleans up super well. The high gain side adds a bunch of additional gain stages and is thick and gated and crazy. Awesome for pretending you can shred. Or you can dial back the gain and get gated crunchy staccato sounds.

That's the slightly longer version. But they are nothing alike.

Oh man, what a cool thread! Thanks Tim and everybody!

I wish everybody who's tried old Frazzes or ones without the toggle could try a new one, it took me a while to get the Frazz just right... like that nude Dazzler up there, the current Frazz sounds way better!

I've tried to keep away from any overlap with my dirt pedals.. the Frazz and Elements and BitQuest all sound totally different, nothing in common with their gain circuits/structures/styles. I think the Frazz is the meanest and grindiest of my dirts, the one most suited to palm mutes and power chords.

Loving this thread, thanks dudes!
